I wrote this poem a month or so ago while I was thinking about some friends who were having some problems at the time. It just crossed my mind that you guys might actually enjoy reading it. I don't think that I am a good poet by any means, but I figured I would try one.
This is what came out,
It Saddens Me
I'm sad to see the world in pain
It's amazing anyone stays sane
Friends cry out left and right
They are being cast into the night
Their souls scream for something to grab
A piece of the life they once had
But all they grasp is air
And nothing they recieve is fair
Oh how the days drag
When you want something you once had
You don't understand where it went
All you know is that you're spent
You've ran the race long and hard
But the end still seems so far
So as I sit and try to see
The silver lining in this tragedy
I wish to encourage all both young and old
You're never alone no matter what you've been told.
Hey Guys...

its me again! I know it has been a long time since I wrote anything and I apologize for that. The thing is that life has been extremely busy lately.
As you may or may not know I had to have surgery on my knee, and its doing fine. I just got my custom brace for it today (which is about a month late, but thats not really my fault).
Aside from that I don't really have anything to talk about. I would tell of my great adventures in football and the beginning of basketball, but unfortunately due to my knee I could not play either. So I am just your normal student/fan this year.
Once again sorry, I have nothing to talk about, but if ya'll have anything you might want my opinion on leave me a comment and I may write a blog about it....if I can find time and think that hard at the time.
Thanks, Happy Thanksgiving, and Merry Christmas,
The (Injured) Fullback
