Dear FootballFullback...

...I have a feeling that a few folks might be missing your postings.

Thought I'd let you know that your Bible teacher at school (who also happens to be my pastor) expresses wonderful things about you. Not only have you impressed him as a Godly young man full of character, but now your football team has impressed him by starting up your own Wednesday lunchtime Bible study on your own. He's waiting to see how else y'all are going to blow him away. A look at the news and around at the public schools and it goes without saying that these are not really things one expects to see and hear out of sixteen-year-old boys in this day and age.

We continue to pray for you as your knee heals enough to undergo ACL repair/grafting. First game of the season taking you out for the whole year sure can knock a hole in things - but one thing we have to expect in life is the unexpected. Sure do miss watching you work your magic on the field, but obviously God has other plans for you this year. Listen and learn, always. As I know you will.

Love you and evermore proud of you, darlin'. You are a blessing in my life in so many, many ways.
