Its a term thats so loosely slung around in the world today, its an emotion that will compel anyone to do almost anything, and its God's greatest gift to man aside from salvation. It's love. allow me to explain my statements.
1. Its so loosely slung around - This one is pretty self explanatory but I will expand on it for you. Love is,as I have already stated, an emotion and a dangerous one if tampered with too much and if you tell someone you love them it should be expected that you actually love them - and not just telling them you do so they will be happy. If you tell someone you love them and you really don't then there is probably a heartbreak waiting to happen down the road somewhere. Yet people do that everyday and people get heartbroken everyday. So this is why I believe the term love is too loosely slung around.
2.Its an emotion that will compel anyone to do almost anything - Also pretty self explanatory but once again I will expand for you. There have been many cases where love has compelled peope to do bad things, and it doesn't have to be the love of another person. It could be the love of money. "For the love of money is the root of all evil." But love also compels people to do good things such as put food on the table for your family and to just all around care for your family and friends. So once again it's a strong emotion.
3.It's God's greatest gift to man besides salvation - " Faith hope and love are some good things He gave us, and the greatest is love." Self explanatory.

Those who use the word too freely, don't understand it's meaning. Those who use it not at all, fear it's absence. Love is at once more and less than we belive.
You need to write more about your thoughts, you have a clear view and an unusual clarity. Don't force it, think about it as you live. If you don't mind I am going to link to your site. The youth and insite are really refreshing.
