Everybody has things they don't understand and then you have these people who think they understand everything but really don't understand hardly anything. You know the kind of people I'm talking about? You know, the ones that will carry on a conversation with you about something they have never heard of.
Its like my grandma talking about a football game. She'll say something like, "So they gave the ball to the guy behind the guy that gets the ball to begin with and he took it and got a homerun." And then I have to translate and say, "You mean the quarterback handed the ball off to the tailback and the tailback got a touchdown." Then she says,"Yeah thats it."
You know people who say stuff like that all the time. Basically what I'm getting at is this: people try to be something they're not to fit in. I just don't get it. Be yourself and you won't have to worry about trying to be someone you're not, and that takes a load off your shoulders, trust me.
And if you say no one likes you or your original personality or the way you are you either need to step back and seriously reevaluate your life or you've told yourself for so long that nobody likes you that you find yourself actually believing that. And if you're the former of those two the latter has already happened to you, and if it's latter then snap out of it before you end up like the former.
Another thing I don't understand is the lack of respect for all people. My generation respects nobody except themselves, yet they want everybody to respect them. To be respected you must first be respectful. Its sort of like to have friends you must first be friendly. You sort of have to start at the bottom and work your way up. But that is a blog for another time.

Respect is an expression of understanding the trials of your fellow man. Everyone is deserving of some respect for some aspect of their life. The poor an for survival of his trials, the rich man for the complexity of his life. All the rest have their place and accomplishments.
Well put.
