A few weeks ago the football team went to a teambuilding course and went to a the river and canoed 8 miles. It was all part of our teambuiling weekend. At the teambuilding course we had to partner up and climb a huge ladder looking thing only it was five 4 by 4's spread about 5 to 6 feet apart attatched to two cables which were at each end of the boards and it ended up to be around 35 to 40 feet high at the platform you were trying to get to. Thre groups made it all the way up, my group and two others.(It is funny though watchin our big linemen trying to climb that thing though)We also had to get all our football team over a twenty foot wall it was jut a wall with a platform on the other side that only two people could be in at a time. Well this took a little bit of planning to do but the decision was finally made to throw me over the wall first (not meaning to brag but I'm the 4th biggest and 3rd strongest person on the team which is sad because I'm also the 3rd youngest being a freshman and all) and after me, came the center, who I had to haul up by myself and then came the right guard who helped me pull every body else up and over...who along with our tailback take up the 1st and 2nd strongest and biggest spots but they're also juniors). And more happened that day but it wasn't anything exciting (if you call this exciting). Anyway we went to our coaches dad's house that he has on the lake and innertubed and kneeboarded and stayed the night there. Early the next morning we got up and set out on our 8 mile canoe trip. As fun as it sounds is about as fun as it got. After all that was over we went home and got some much needed rest. I know it might not sound like it was a very hard weekend, but I am leaving a lot of stuff out that we did, and canoeing 8 miles on 3 hours of sleep ain't all that easy either. But all around it was a pretty good weekend.
